Designed to introduce the latest world technology trends and help develop the domestic industry in the 21st century, the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF 2002) will be held on December 4-8, 2002 at the Convention & Exhibition(COEX), Seoul. The 5-day affair will be hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office(KIPO) and organized by the Korea Invention Promotion Association(KIPA). KIPA brings to SIIF 2002 more than 20 years’ experience in organizing the Korea Patent Technology Exhibition, the biggest domestic invention fair in the country.

Featuring almost 500 inventions from 30 countries worldwide, SIIF 2002 is expected to be a very comprehensive invention fair. It will also provide detailed information on the commercialization of invention, technology transfer, and intellectual property rights. As such, the organizers are attracting independent inventors, enterprises, patent offices, and patent information and technology transfer-related organizations worldwide as target participants.

One of the highlights of SIIF 2002 is the International Symposium organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization(WIPO), and the International Federation of Inventors?Associations(IFIA) on the "Commercialization of Inventions in the Global Market", to be held on December 4-7, 2002 at COEX. It seeks to provide valuable marketing and commercialization information for SIIF 2002 participants.
