In this invention, the seismic response of isolated liquid storage tanks will be investigated. For this purpose, the numerical methods will be employed to predict the seismic behavior of base isolated liquid storage tanks. After establishing the proper numerical model and evaluating its validity, the parametric study will be performed on governed geometrical and physical variables.
