The presented system combines the kitchenware and the wireless module as a new IOT kitchenette. It utilizes the laser diodes and photo-sensitive transistor to sense the level of the fume pollution in the first place. Then the system can switch on the extractor fans in the case of the severe situation. Moreover, the safety system can monitor the occurrence of the earthquake and adaptively switch off the gas if it happens. In the application of the IOT, the sensing parameters are received and monitored by the portable handsets in the remote sites.
