Treatment of building materials surface with low-temperature plasma performs fast and effective modification of building materials forming the thinnest hydrophobic film, which blocks the liquid thus improving operational properties of the materials and giving them nice aesthetic view.
Plasma technology is used for treatment of silicate brick, fire-clay refractories, wood, enhancing their durability and improving operational properties. The basic principle of facility operation lies in the use of low temperature plasma as the source of high concentration heat flows. As a result of low-temperature plasma energy thermal influence occurs with the speed 20-40 sm per second. By means of high temperatures generated by plasmatron the speed of treatment increases, and specific energy consumption decreases.
