Thanks to its high number of leaders (spindles), the yield per leader can reach between 0.5 and 1 kg, which can give high quality nuts and high yields, up to 5000 kg per hectare or more. A significant increase of hazelnut production per unit area, by introducing a new technology, i.e. new cultivation forms is the lead idea of the patent I present here.
