The idea consists of plastic empty cubes (1 m sides), to be set along the river, and progressively filled by the rising water. The cubes are assembled by vertical and horizontal tongues-grooves and, more, by the dowels-holes joints. If the river bed and sides are sandy, the cubes can be filled by pumping the sand in.
