Based on the research presented a simple and affordable method of assessing the quality of marine environment using biochemical blood parameters of fish protein concentrations and their level of oxidative modification. The research results are of interest for the development of monitoring programs using biomarkers in the blood of fish and organizing activities for the protection and rehabilitation of coastal communities.
