In this this paper, the electrostatic precipitator was used to removing the smoke and particulate matter from the cooking area. In this precipitator, the smoke or particulate is flowing through the collector and it then charged by the corona discharge field inside the precipitator. Charged particles are moving forward to the collecting plates by the electrostatic force.
