IP Academy is available online with over 140 e-learning contents for anyone interested in learning about intellectual property issues. It began in 2002 with 12,700 participants and has rapidly grown to well over 320,000 per year since then. These courses target to nurture creative students, teach invention programs to school teachers, educate businesses, teach university students about using IP in the future and train public officials in IP.
IP Panorama (WIPO SMEs-KIPO-KIPA)
Provides basic IP knowledge from a business perspective through 12 modules about topics such as patents, trademarks and industrial designs, copyrights, technology licensing, and IP and international trade.
Versions of IP Panorama in the official languages of the UN are under development
IP Xpedite (APEC-KIPO-KIPA)
Deals with the importance of intellectual property information and how to utilize it properly in 14 Modules covering topics ranging from understanding the value of IP to the preparation of patent maps and how to draft patent documents internationally.
DL-KL-101 Course (WWA-KIPO-KIPA)
Focuses on global IP issues and IP rights based on the DL-101 content provided by WIPO Worldwide Academy with a Korean language portion containing specific IP cases
